If you’re looking for a destination that guarantees fun for kids, teens, parents, and everyone in between, Skyranch Tagaytay is the place to be! Our family decided to make a day of it, starting our adventure from the beautiful Taal Vista Hotel, which conveniently offers a partnership with Skyranch. Not only did we get to skip the long entrance lines, but the breathtaking view of Taal Volcano set the perfect tone for the day. Here’s how our Skyranch escapade unfolded.
Getting Started: Tickets and Hassle-Free Entry
Thanks to Taal Vista Hotel, we were able to purchase our Skyranch tickets directly from their reception. With these, we accessed a special gate into the park, saving time and energy for the fun that awaited us. If you’re staying elsewhere, platforms like Klook offer a great deal: the Ride-All-You-Can pass for only ₱398. This pass includes access to over 15 attractions, including the iconic Sky Eye Ferris wheel, roller coasters, and family-friendly rides.
Tip: Purchase tickets in advance to avoid long queues and make the most of your day!
Thrilling Rides: Fun for Teens and Brave Parents
Our family started with the Log Coaster, a ride with exciting drops and sharp turns, but not too intense for those new to thrill rides. We gave it a solid 7/10—thrilling enough to be fun but approachable even for younger teens.
Next was the Sky Cruiser, where you pedal your way through an elevated track with stunning views of Tagaytay. While it’s a unique mix of sightseeing and exercise, be prepared—it can get tiring! It’s a fun family challenge, earning a 6/10 in our books.
Kid-Friendly Fun: Perfect for Younger Siblings
Skyranch is more than just thrill rides; it’s also a paradise for younger kids. They will surely enjoy the Happy Swing, a gentle ride perfect for both kids and adults who want to enjoy some lighthearted fun. The younger ones will also adore the Mini Vikings and the Nitro Drift – a tiny race car ride where they could live out their speedster dreams safely.
The classic Carousel is always a hit, and for families needing a break, the Express Train offers a relaxing tour of the park.
Snacks and Relaxation
Exploring Skyranch works up an appetite, and luckily, the park is dotted with food stalls offering everything from shawarma to hotdogs. Our family favorite? Turks Shawarma, with its flavorful beef wrapped in soft pita bread – a satisfying bite after hours of fun.
For those wanting a bigger meal, you can find plenty of options inside the park or nearby. It’s a foodie’s delight with something for every craving.
Highlights: Sky Eye, Super Vikings, and More
The towering Sky Eye, the tallest Ferris wheel in the Philippines, was a highlight of our day. The air-conditioned gondola and stunning 360-degree view of Taal Volcano made the 20-minute wait completely worth it. This ride earned a 9/10 for its combination of relaxation and awe-inspiring scenery.
For adrenaline junkies in the family, the Super Vikings ride was a must. Swinging high into the sky, it’s a thrilling mix of laughter and screams. Teens and parents looking for a good rush gave it a full 10/10.
Ride Closures: A Minor Setback
While most attractions were operational, a few, like the Bumper Boats and Drop Tower, were closed for maintenance. It was a bit disappointing, but there was still so much to do that it didn’t dampen our day.
Final Thoughts
Our visit to Skyranch Tagaytay was nothing short of amazing. From thrilling rides like the Super Vikings to family-friendly attractions like the Express Train, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The park’s variety of food stalls ensured no one went hungry, and the stunning views of Taal Volcano added a special charm to the day.
If you’re planning a family trip to Tagaytay, Skyranch is a destination you shouldn’t miss. It’s the perfect mix of fun, adventure, and relaxation that creates lasting memories for both teens and parents alike.
