Must-Try Street Foods in Hong Kong’s Michelin Guide
If you’re a food lover visiting Hong Kong, you can’t miss out on the city’s vibrant street food scene. From local delights to international flavors, the Michelin Guide in Hong Kong features a variety of street food stalls that are worth trying. Here are a few must-try options:
Fat Boy Shop
This shop is operated by the son of the famous “Fei Jie”. He is the owner oof the popular local snack joint in Mong Kok. We are here to try their braised skewers – cuttlefish, port liver, turkey gizzard, and pork intestine.
Cheung Hing Kee
Cheung Hing Kee is famous for its mouthwatering Shanghai pan-fried pork buns. You have several options and you’ll find it in their menu. We are very excited to try Cheung Hing Kee because this shop has been a part of the Michelin Guide back in 2016 – so buns here must be really good!
Sai Kwan Lo Jo and Thai Chiu
Both Michelin-star street food stalls are inside Food Opera of City Gate Outlets. Lo Jo Flavours are known for the best rated deep-fried sticky rice dumpling with Iberico pork and the black barbeque Pork and Double fried egg.
There’s another Michelin food that we got to try – the Hainanese Chicken rice at Thai Chiu. There’s a queue to get this Michelin dish so you need to line up before you get to taste this really delicious Hainanese Chicken rice.
