Today, we’re taking you to one of our favorite hotels in Tagaytay: Quest Hotel Tagaytay! Join us as we share our weekend staycation experience in this popular hotel known for its prime location, modern amenities, and excellent service.
Location and Accessibility
Quest Hotel Tagaytay is conveniently located just an hour’s drive from the South, right behind Fora Lifestyle Mall along Diversion Road. Its proximity to popular tourist spots like Sky Ranch, Picnic Grove, and the picturesque Taal Volcano makes it an ideal choice for travelers who want to explore the best of Tagaytay. The hotel is also a short distance from several restaurants, shopping centers, and entertainment options, adding to its appeal for those looking for convenience.
First Impressions and Check-In
Upon arrival, guests will find ample parking space, which is a great plus, especially in a busy city like Tagaytay. The check-in process starts at 3 PM, though rooms are often available if you arrive after lunch. The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating, making the check-in process quick and easy. Be prepared for a P1,000 security deposit per night, which is refundable at check-out.
The hotel’s cleanliness is immediately noticeable, and it boasts a modern design. The lobby is welcoming, with an efficient front desk ready to assist guests. The elevator to the upper floors is conveniently located at the far left end of the building.
The Room
For our stay, we booked a deluxe room via Agoda for a great deal: only Php 2,300 per night! Our room on the 10th floor featured a queen-size bed, a flat-screen TV, a spacious mirror, and a private veranda offering breathtaking views of Tagaytay. If you’re looking for a room with a relaxing balcony view, the higher floors won’t disappoint.
The room also comes equipped with standard amenities: a mini-fridge, a water heater, complimentary coffee and tea, and a safety deposit box for your valuables. There’s a handy luggage rack and an open-space cabinet with hangers. An added convenience is the pitcher provided for guests, allowing easy access to the hot and cold water dispensers located on every floor.
The bathroom, though small compared to other hotels in the area, is clean and comes with essential toiletries. It’s located near the room’s entrance, a layout that works well, although the compact size may be a consideration for some guests.
Pool and Outdoor Facilities
One of the highlights of Quest Hotel is its inviting outdoor swimming pool. While it isn’t heated, it remains a guest favorite, perfect for a refreshing dip in its 4-foot depth. The hotel provides pool towels, so there’s no need to bring your own, making it hassle-free for guests who want to relax by the poolside.
Dining Experience: Baker J Cafe
Breakfast is served at Baker J Cafe, located on the ground floor next to the reception desk. The cafe was recently renovated, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere for guests. They’ve also revamped the seating layout, making it more spacious. If you’re looking to enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading out for the day, Baker J Cafe is a great spot to start your morning.
Added Perks: Massage Services
During our previous stay, we had the chance to try their in-room massage service. We highly recommend it! The massage therapists are among the best in Tagaytay, offering a relaxing experience after a long day of exploring the city. You can inquire at the reception for available slots and rates.
Parking and EV Charging Stations
Parking is stress-free at Quest Hotel, with dedicated spots on both sides of the building. An exciting recent addition is the charging station for electric vehicles located in the basement, a rare find in Tagaytay, and a big plus for eco-conscious travelers!
Love Locks and Fora Mall
A unique feature we discovered during our stay is the “Love Locks” area, a new addition since our last visit. Couples can add a love lock to symbolize their bond, a cute and memorable activity for guests.
Another big plus of staying at Quest Hotel is its proximity to Fora Mall. In just a few minutes, you can walk to the mall and explore its shops, restaurants, and even an Anytime Fitness gym. Baker J Cafe has a backdoor that leads directly to Fora Mall’s outdoor garden area, making it easy to grab a coffee or snack during your stay.
Summary
Quest Hotel Tagaytay checks all the boxes for a perfect staycation. Whether you’re here for a quick getaway or a relaxing weekend, this hotel provides great value for money. Its strategic location, modern amenities, comfortable rooms, and top-notch service make it a solid choice for anyone visiting Tagaytay.
